You picked a brave topic of conversation, Bonnie. As a mom, I can't fault any parent for trying to rescue their child in this situation. I also don't think many parents (or anyone, for that matter) would think this mom is setting a behavioral precedent for how to act in future school shootings . I think it just reflected the desperation of parents whose children were trapped for far too long with nothing being done.
