This is a tough story for me because I didn't feel like I got enough details to comment on it. I am puzzled about the motive, especially why LaTania's parents would try to hire someone to kill her three times. Why would he wake her up in the middle of the night? What was her stepfather in prison for this time? It's uncommon for an abuse case to happen to a sixteen year old girl. So many unanswered questions.
