Sad story. I live very close to the Hotel Del and have been there many times but had no idea about all the things that happened there. Kate Morgan seems like such a mystery; why did she have no one? What would drive her to such despair? It also seems so odd to me that she would kill herself on the stairwell and not in her room; most people who kill themselves choose a private place where there is no chance anyone will see them. Was this a last cry for help?
