Interesting article and thanks for sharing. I've been lucky in that I've never had a bad experience with a publication. But, and I realize I'm admitting a character flaw here, I am usually too impatient to wait through the submission process. Also I make myself write (and publish) a certain number of articles a week, and, when I'm in limbo, I mentally start the "does this article count for this week? Or next week? Do I need to write another one just in case?"
