Interesting article. I read about this case years go in school as he is often cited as one of the "first" family annihilators. I was so happy that he was eventually caught. As far as the rumor that he had a $100,000 Tiffany skylight he could have cashed in on, that's the first I've heard of it. But I don't think that would have solved List's problems. It takes a lot more than family debt to decide to murder your entire family.
