I have a long and sordid history of hanging on to jobs/gigs/contract work long after the thrill was gone and my psyche began screaming for relief. I've gotten better at letting go over the years, but it's still not easy - in spite of the fact that not once have I ever experienced the tiniest sliver of regret when I've done it.
