I don't know what to think of this story. This mother was negligent and I have a feeling she will psychologically pay for it the rest of her life. It's heart-wrenching to think of her daughter waiting for hours for her mom to come get her. But second degree murder? I can't get there. I could make an argument for manslaughter but that's as far as I can get.
